FC St. Pauli will have renowned supporters by their side on their scheduled tour of the United States (15-24 May 2018) in the shape of US punk band Rise Against. As part of the tour, the club will present an exclusive club concert with the band at the St. Andrews Hall in Detroit on 18 May at 9pm local time.
A limited contingent of 1,300 tickets will be available for this special concert. Tickets cost 29 US dollars and can be purchased from 10am EDT on Friday, 13 April, by clicking on the following link: https://bit.ly/2IMMoCT
St. Pauli and Rise Against have been partners since last year, but the relationship goes much further than that, as club president Oke Göttlich explained: „We’re delighted to have the support of Rise Against on our US tour. In addition to our common love of music, St. Pauli and the band also share the same political stance. Just like us, they take a stand against racism, sexism, fascism and homophobia.“
The US tour will not go ahead if St. Pauli are involved in the play-offs at the end of the 2017/18 season, but the concert will take place irrespective of events on the pitch.
